Humanoid Robot UK is an independent editorial site covering the humanoid robotics market from a UK perspective. It publishes explainers, buyer guidance, market analysis and deployment news for a UK audience.
The site is part of the Hitchens Group, a UK portfolio of specialist digital businesses. It operates independently in its editorial decisions. No coverage is paid for, and no manufacturer funds or influences what is published here.
Why this site exists
Almost all humanoid robot coverage is written from a US perspective. That leaves UK readers, businesses and professionals without reliable intelligence on the questions that actually matter to them: what is available through UK channels, what it costs after import duty and VAT, what UK regulations apply, which deployments are happening in British warehouses, care homes and factories.
This site was started in 2026, at a point when the humanoid robot market is genuinely at an early commercial stage. There are no consumer products on general sale, the business market is in early pilots, and the next two to three years are widely expected to see significant growth. Building a trusted, authoritative UK editorial presence now, before that growth peaks, is the strategic reason the site exists.
That honesty about timing matters. This is not a site pretending the robots are here and the revolution has begun. It is a site doing the groundwork so that when UK buyers, businesses and journalists need reliable UK-specific coverage, this is the first place they come.
Editorial standards
These are the standards the site holds itself to.
Where a statistic, price or volume figure appears on this site, it is either drawn from a named and dated source or explicitly described as an estimate or reported figure. We do not invent numbers to fill a sentence. If we cannot quote a real price, we describe the pricing landscape qualitatively and honestly.
Prices, regulations, deployment examples and workforce analysis are given in a UK context wherever possible. Where only US or global data is available, that limitation is stated clearly.
The humanoid robot market attracts a great deal of confident-sounding forecasting. This site takes a different approach: widely reported expectations are presented as expectations, with their source acknowledged. What is confirmed is reported as confirmed. The two are never blurred.
No manufacturer pays for coverage. No affiliate placement will be made until a legitimate programme exists and passes our minimum standards. When affiliate links are used, they will be disclosed in accordance with UK advertising rules. Sponsored content, if it is ever published, will be clearly labelled as such.

At launch in September 2026, this site has a small number of pages and no audience to speak of. That is the honest starting point for any new editorial site, and there is no benefit in pretending otherwise.
The plan is to publish consistently, cover the UK angle that others overlook, and build a readership as the market grows. A newsletter will follow once there is enough content to make it worth a reader’s inbox. Brand pages, deployment trackers and sector-specific guides will be added as the coverage matures.
